I like to read, but even more than reading I like to write... when I have the time. I imagine that someday I may write a book about my wife, who is the most fascinating and remarkable person I have ever met. I could write a book on technical analysis of stocks, or I might just limit myself to small essays, satire, and poetry.

When I write I have a concept of immaculate creation, which means that I want my writing creations to be untouched by outside sources, purely a product of my spirit and intellect. A consequence of this concept is that I don't like to change or edit what I have written, though I certainly do this to some extent with most everything I write. Immaculate creation means that I don't want to first find out if anyone else has written a similar work. As scholarly writing requires research and comparison to other works, this presents a particular problem for some of my efforts; the concept is far better suited to creative writing.
