The Farthest Wave: Perfect Poetry

Can you the reader
Or I the writer
Ever discern or tell?

Of a billion beautiful poems in print
If mine are more bold or precious?

Yes! Because mine are perfect.
If only for brief moments
When I speak my spirit
And you hear my heart.

I enjoy my poems. My wife loves my poems. No matter how many times we read them, they are still delightful. Consequently, I sometimes fancy myself to be a good poet. Yet it is a simple task to find a book with fabulous poems written by a master, or search the web to find exquisite poems written by an othewise average person. So, in response to those times when my bubble is burst after finding elegance in print or on the web, I wrote "Perfect Poetry", which mingles my definition of perfection with my fanciful idea that I am a fine poet.
